CHICKASHA, Okla. — A 39-year-old Chickasha Police Department lieutenant has been arrested on multiple child sex crime charges following an investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).
Jeremy Alexander was arrested by the United States Marshals Service on October 9, 2026, and booked into the Grady County Jail on 12 counts of indecent exposure to a minor, 14 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, and one count of child abuse.
According to the OSBI, the investigation began on February 9, 2026, when the Chickasha Police Department requested assistance in investigating allegations involving the possession of child pornography.
During the investigation, OSBI special agents identified Alexander, who was a lieutenant with the Chickasha Police Department, as the suspect.
Investigators determined that Alexander had engaged in inappropriate communication with a juvenile and had physically assaulted another juvenile.
As the investigation continued, OSBI special agents obtained multiple search warrants and discovered evidence that Alexander had possessed and received images containing child sexual abuse material.
Based on the evidence gathered, the Grady County District Court issued an arrest warrant for Alexander.
On October 9, the United States Marshals Service took Alexander into custody without incident.
"The United States Marshals Service received a request to assist with a warrant of Jeremy Alexander," said United States Marshal Johnny Khulman of the Western District of Oklahoma. "Our Fugitive Task Force immediately responded and took Alexander into custody without incident. We appreciate the assistance from the OSBI, along with our other law enforcement partners in Grady County."
The OSBI thanked the United States Marshals Service, Grady County Sheriff's Office, Grady County District Attorney's Office, and the District 3 and 6 Task Forces for their continued assistance throughout the investigation.
The charges are accusations, and Alexander is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
