EDMOND, Okla. — Edmond police have announced two additional arrests in connection with the mass shooting at Arcadia Lake that left one person dead and 22 others injured.

According to the Edmond Police Department, detectives arrested 21-year-old Marcus Kane Jones this week after obtaining a warrant charging him with Accessory to Murder.

Jones was taken into custody on June 23 at a residence in Edmond by members of the U.S. Marshals Service. He was booked into the Edmond jail and is expected to be transferred to the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

Police thanked the U.S. Marshals Service for assisting in locating and apprehending Jones.

In a separate development, investigators also filed charges against a 16-year-old male who was already being held at a juvenile detention facility on unrelated charges.

The juvenile now faces charges of:

• Shooting With Intent to Kill
• Gang-Related Offense
• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime
• Possession of a Firearm After Juvenile Adjudication

The arrests stem from the May 3, 2026, shooting at Arcadia Lake in Edmond, where 18-year-old Avianna Smith-Gray was killed and 22 other people were injured.

With the latest arrests, a total of six people have now been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Edmond police said the investigation remains active and detectives believe additional suspects were involved.
