TULSA, Okla. — A 35-year-old woman has been arrested after investigators said she helped a murder suspect evade law enforcement following a fatal shooting in May.

Tulsa Police responded to the Trade Winds Central Inn at 3141 East Skelly Drive on May 17, where Marcus Vasquez had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police identified Jeffrey Aguirre, also known as “Joker,” as the alleged shooter. Aguirre was arrested on May 21 and charged with First Degree Murder.

During the investigation, detectives said digital evidence and witness statements showed Siera Katherine Laffoon helped Aguirre while he was on the run. Investigators said she assisted in transporting him, was with him, attempted to dispose of evidence and helped facilitate communications.

An arrest warrant was later issued through the Muscogee (Creek) Nation District Court.

Laffoon was taken into custody and faces a charge of Accessory to Felony After the Fact.
